Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

GO Serve, a program of GO Tours LLC, wants every school leader, student, parent, pastor, and partner to be able to read this site and reach us. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which is the standard most organizations use.

What we have done

  • Every page has a “Skip to main content” link (press Tab when a page opens) and a clear page structure for screen readers.
  • The menus, dropdowns, FAQ questions, the training-materials viewer, and the Discipleship Roadmap can all be used with a keyboard, and the item you are on is highlighted.
  • Photos have text descriptions, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • We checked text and background colors against the WCAG contrast requirements, including text that sits on photos.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations on the Discipleship Roadmap and elsewhere are turned off.
  • Pages adjust to phones, tablets, and larger text sizes.

How we check

We test with an automated accessibility checker, by using the site with only a keyboard, and by reviewing new pages before they go live. Automated tools find only part of the problems, so we also welcome feedback from the people who use the site.

Parts we do not fully control

Two features are provided by other companies and may not fully meet the same standard: the appointment calendar on our Schedule page (Google Calendar) and the review badge in the footer (WeTravel). If you cannot use the calendar, you can send us a message or call us and we will set up a time with you.

Tell us what is not working

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us which page you were on and what happened. We will work to fix it and to get you what you need in the meantime.
