Cristo Rey
Local school leaders dedicated to academic excellence and discipling the next generation have asked for your group's help to develop a music program and join them in reaching their surrounding community with the hope of building a lasting partnership.
Will your school consider saying yes?
Corozal District, Belize
Presbyterian Day School is located in Cristo Rey Village in the Corozal District of Belize. This northern region of Belize has a diverse economy rooted in agriculture and a growing prominence of tourism. The village itself has a population of just over 1,000 people, and is known for its quiet, rural charm and the friendly hospitality of its residents.
The school is led by its principal, Mr. Aldair Pott, and a dedicated staff of six teachers. The school currently serves 109 students from preschool through grade 8, with a Christ-centered learning approach that aims to transform the hearts of students. Despite facing competition from a free government school, the school continues to provide a loving and safe learning environment, ranking high for its classroom management, small class size, and care for students. Their vision is to deepen relationships with their community outside their school walls even as they disciple students.

Ways to Serve This Community
School Music and Instrument Teaching
The school's goal is to develop a worship team and band for their students. Your school is invited to come alongside and train their elementary students through music workshops where students will learn vocals, guitar, and piano among other instruments. We will share our skills and worship Jesus together.
Community Outreach & Skills Sharing
Beyond construction, the school's leadership has a deep desire to connect with the community beyond the school's gates. Your school will play a crucial role in bridging the gap with the community. Your students will partner with PDS students to put on a sports camp or share valuable skills like first aid, music, or art. This flexible opportunity is a chance to use your students' unique gifts and passions to build relationships and show God's love in a practical, impactful way.
Long Term Partnership: Becoming Sister Schools
The school's leadership is excited about the possibility of a long-term partnership between them and your school. Join them as co-laborers and fellow educators in your ministry and become a school who serves. A lasting partnership would open up many opportunities to bless the PDS ministry, whether through continued community outreach, building renovation, or education partnerships.

One School, One Community

Holistic Spiritual Formation
We know that as a school leader, you have been praying for the growth of your student body—that they may mature and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord (2 Peter 3:18).
We pray that GO Serve is one way your prayers are answered. This trip is intentionally designed to serve your group's unique spiritual needs while meeting the needs of those we serve. Every aspect of this journey—from itinerary, to devotional topics, even to fun outings—is designed to meet the discipleship outcomes you have been praying for.
We will work together to create a spiritual formation focus specific to your group and integrate it throughout your trip.
